Hello Cedar Park! We are so excited to be part of this community!

Hello Cedar Park! We are so excited to be part of this community!

Has it really been four whole months since we opened? It feels like nothing, and yet we’ve already made so many great new friends!

From Day 1, our goal has been to create a comfortable space for kids to enjoy books - their favorites that they’ve read 100 times, or something new and different.

We are thrilled that our book selection has tripled since opening day, with more coming in every week. We’ve seen demand for baby, cooking, and art as well, and have carefully chosen new items to bring to you. Everything is available in person and online, shipped or pick up for free at the store.

Events have kicked off, and we are enjoying story time, craft times, and book clubs. Authors have joined us for signings, and we will host our first book launch party this April! Be sure to check out our events on this site and/or Facebook.

And speaking of social, join us on Instagram! We finally made the plunge, and are posting new arrivals, events, and pics of our friends (with permission) every day!

We’d love to hear how you found us, and how you like to hear what’s happening. And above all, we love to see you!

Welcome to the PBB Family!

Our family has always been a bit of a clan... there are a lot of us, and we're super close. Here, family is our top priority… getting to know each other, and watching each other grow. That made focusing on children’s books easy!

What we provide isn’t available anywhere else.

  • We select every book on our shelves, from fan favorites (looking at you Tiny T. Rex and DWK), to BabyLit, and the world folklore from August House.

  • We understand that the best ideas come from collaborative spaces, learning from each others’ perspectives. Our Johnny & Frankie Collaboration Room will be available soon to kids looking for a co-working space.

  • We know that everyone is different, whether they like to sit down and feel a paintbrush in their hands, or click and create on a screen. We embrace the different learning styles at PBB. We are eager to grow with your learners, too!

  • From board books to chapter readers, fact to fiction, and next door to outer space, we’ve got a book for you. There’s a selection for our young adult readers as well.

  • The Collaboration Corner allows young people to do what they do best - talk to and learn from each other! We welcome study groups, book clubs, and more. This open idea space is yours to make anything possible. Reserve the Johnny & Frankie Collaboration Space for $15/hr. Room holds 4-6 people.

  • *GROWTH GOAL - Opening 2024*

We tell children they can be anything when they grow up! At PBB we believe they can be anything NOW. Our Illustration Station encourages young graphic designers and authors to put pen to paper to publish the makings of their own beautiful brains!

The Inspiration

Once upon a time, our worlds unfolded slowly. Daycares and kindergartens opened young children’s eyes to the world outside of their homes. Second and third grade increased geographical awareness. Fifth and sixth focused on the concept of a global community with diverse cultures and experiences.

Today those things are available to our children at the click of a button. They can ask Alexa any question or see influencers travel the world on YouTube.

Where once the newspaper was the primary way to share current events, now we have instant access to all manner of media. Our children’s language is digital, and their horizons are limitless.

PBB believes in fostering that access in a way that inspires curiosity, encourages diversity, and motivates young thinkers to dream big in a big world. They are a global community in a way that no generation has experienced before, and the world is literally at their young fingertips. Join us to explore our world, and build our future.
